Real World Vegas: Cooke’ing up a whole lot drama!

On tonight’s episode of The Real World Vegas a new roommate is added to the mix to the displeasure of 50 % of the original roomies.  Cooke, the sporty guys girl, comes into the house very strong.

She immediately bonds with the boys and soon admits that she has a problem making friends with girls.  Follow that comment up with her saying that the Heather/Dustin relationship needs to be  “broken up” and its no wonder she cant make girl friends.  No girls are going to want to be friends with someone who one hour into the house is already trying to be a home wrecker.  The situation doesn’t get any better when the roommates begin telling Heather that Dustin is already acting funny and plant thoughts into her head that a hook up may be in the future for the two (Cooke is Dustin’s new roommate by the way, recipe for disaster?)  The episode reaches a breaking point when Naomi and Nany begin ganging up on Cooke when they think they see her pointing at Heather in the club.  The fighting continues on once they get back to the house and we see a very feisty and scrappy side of both Naomi and Nany (which I loved, so entertaining!)  The fighting eventually dies down and in the morning both Nany and Naomi agree that they are not giving the new girl a chance.  Nany says “I’m gonna walk around here like she doesn’t even exist” and Naomi nods in agreement.  Cooke also doesn’t seem to be budging as she tells Dustin “Why am I supposed to be bending over backwards for you [Nany, Naomi, and Heather] when I’m the new person in the house? I’m just living with them, I don’t need to be friends with them if they don’t want to be.” The only original girl roommate who had any type of compassion for Cooke is surprisingly Heather.  To me, that shows a lot about her character because I’m sure any other girl in her situation, with a new roommate trying to hook up with their boyfriend would not be giving Cooke ANY time of the day.  And at the end of the episode we see Heather and Cooke having a civil conversation in which Cooke apologizes for the way she came across in the beginning and Heather accepts her apology.

Though I soon think Heather is going to be regretting her decision to do so because surprise surprise, in the last confessional of the night given by Cooke she tell us that Dustin is definitely not X’d off her list and says “When there comes someone that I want, I typically get it.” Oh new roommate, you are something else.
