It’s an exciting week in the Bieberverse, the teen dream traded in his trademark ‘do for something new and *gasp* shorter!

Personally, I’m loving the change. I did enjoy watching him flip his hair during every interview, especially the one where Chelsea Handler called him out and asked him what he kept doing with his head. Whether you think the new haircut is fresh and fun or will keep your fingers crossed that he lets it grow out again this is what JB had to say about his new look:

“I just wanted a kind of a change, I didn’t want to cut it all off, but I had had it for 3 1/2 years, I had just gotten sick of it, it was in my eyes, I didn’t want it in my face, I just wanted to change it up.”

And more than that, his old locks are going to be sold to raise money for charity! Bieber tweets:

“yeah so it’s true…i got a lil haircut…i like it…and we are giving all the hair cut to CHARITY to auction. Details coming soon.”

Start saving your money now Beliebers because if you want to get your hands on the brown locks of love I have a feeling you are going to have to dish out a ton of money! In the words of Bieber, “With the strength of Beliebers love, the price can go nowhere but up” Okay— well — maybe those weren’t his exact words. Ha Ha. ;)
