Hannah Montana wrecks family life according to Billy Ray

Oh Billy Ray. Did you really think it was a good idea to lash out at the franchise that got your daughter (and family) to where she/they are today?  I can understand a father worrying about his daughter, I really can.  But I just don’t think he needed to do it in such a public way.  Especially when according to Billy Ray, he hasn’t been in touch with his daughter who “cant be tamed” since the video was released of her smoking salvia.

Speaking about Mileys 18th birthday party Billy Ray says:

“You know why I didn’t go? Because they were having it in a bar. It was wrong. It was for 21 years old and up … all them people, they all wanted me to fly out so that then when all the bad press came they could say, ‘Daddy endorsed this stuff.’ I started realizing I’m being used.”(http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/miley_dad_regrets_hannah_eaD8G2RwZpK4bWC630RE0H)

Okay daddy Cyrus, if you didn’t agree with what was going on why didn’t you step in and stop it? That would have been a better choice compared to doing this interview in which you seem completely unappreciative of what Disney and Hannah Montana have done for you and your family.  Hannah Montana made a name for you, Miley, and your family. Did it do damage throughout the process? I don’t doubt that. But thats life and things are going to happen especially in Hollywood.

Personally, if you were that concerned about getting your family back I would work on that instead of doing controversial interviews in which your family will be scrutinized even more.
