If Lady Gaga can have a full day dedicated to her (Born this way Friday anyone?) then I think its acceptable I dedicate a blog post to my favorite pop princess turned hot mess turned, well..anyways, you get the point.
I’m loving Britneys new single “Hold it against me” It makes me want to go out and dance. The lyrics are also super sexy which is perfect for Britney. I don’t care if she went crazy and shaved her head with her orange cheeto stained fingers. She can wear her short A&F shorts with uggs everyday no matter the temperature and I will still love her.
In high school some friends and I bought tickets to her Onxy hotel tour. I think it was the most excited I had ever been for a concert. Fun songs, hot dancing, and Britney up close and person? Doesn’t get much better than that. Well, the pop star gods must really hate me (see previous Bieber Fever post) because Britney just had to go and hurt her knee and cancel the rest of the tour (AKA the show I had tickets for). I’m still dying to go see her and I really hope she tours soon after releasing “Femme Fatal”
Anyways I found this cover of “Hold it against me” on youtube and think its great. They slow the song down and add in a few minor changes. The guy has a great voice and it puts a new spin on an already great song- win win! Check it out and let me know what you think.
